Concealed Weapon Permit means just that =Concealed not able to see. You must keep your carry weapon concealed at all times in California. Although there is a grey area in the law here about non permitted people I think don't take my word for it but if you have a CCW you must conceal it.

Welcome to CC CDMP! I am not positive about California law, but everything I hear about it leads me to believe that if you are able to obtain a Carry permit you had better pay close attention to the defintion of "concealed".

As far as the badge idea goes.... Well I think you may find by searching for "badge" that it may not be the greatest plan either.

Glad to have you around these parts!

Inside your residence or your owned business, I believe, you may carry any way you choose: openly or concealed.

The reality is: Carrying openly and/or clipping your license visibly to your belt can make you a target and certainly erases any element of surprise and leverage you might otherwise have had, despite any minor differences in time to draw/present. Think about it.

Work out your mode of dress. Now. You'll need to determine which closed with which carry method will comply with the law, afford you the concealability and tactical advantages you want.

Yes, concealed means concealed. Probably best even at your place of business.

When you’re wounded and left on Afghanistan’s plains,
And the women come out to cut up what remains,
Just roll to your rifle and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier.

If you want to carry a badge, join the police force. If you are not a cop, skip the badge.
