Hey Osodog. Glad I helped in some small way. That's why we come to forums...for info sharing and ideas. I know I research crap to death when I'm making a big purchase, lol.

My VTAC is still running strong and I shoot it A lot in my local 2-gun matches. Unfortunately, as an update, the fiber optic rod in my front sight fell out. S&W is replacing it, no questions asked. But honestly...I'm thinking about running a set of warren tactical/sevigny sights instead.

Here's a few updated pics of how my VTAC sits nowadays.

Some people are reporting undesirable accuracy from M&P 9s at 25 yards. Undesirable being a 6" to 8" group.

How does yours perform at that distance?

Beautiful pistol & a nice collection of firearms! Good shooting & I'm sure it's not all the gun but the one handling it.

I'm saving my money & figure that I'll be able to afford an M&P or Glock sometime in the year 2019. I already have $35 saved up!! lol

Nice write up review. I could not find a VTAC when shopping for a M&P so went with the standard. I dare say the M&P is the best fitted gun in my hand I have ever held.
