If you can't reach the magazine release on your stock Glock, try the OEM extended release. If that doesn't work for you, find a different pistol to work with. Most times it's an adaption. You integrate yourself to your pistol, otherwise it's just messing around. Any time you feel the need to supplement your chosen sidearm with something, you're going in the wrong direction. You may also change your method of operation. Simply put....you want to keep things simple either way. Saving your own skin is rather a simple ordeal.....applying it should never be complicated.

I have the Vickers Tactical mag release on both my Glocks. They are a wee bit longer and easier to reach than stock, but not so much longer that you can accidentally drop your mag. Install took 2 minutes. The Glock factory extended mag releases are too long, IMHO.

I'll tell you the ones with the buttons on the end are not good for concealed carry. They will pinch you if not covered or get in the way of the holster. Had the topglock one and the screws started rusting after a week. I'd go with the Vickers one.

I had the oval, extended magazine release installed on my Glocks, by the nice folks at TopGlocksmith.com / SouthwestShootingAuthority.com

    - Extremely satisfied with this mod...

If you don't want something that requires any frame modification, the Ghost Lo-Pro Magazine Release looks promising.

I just ordered the Vickers mag release for my Glocks... Just a tad bigger, but just enough extension.
