Taurus mag-fed handguns, Hi-Point, a number of Kel-Tecs, any Kahr with a poly frame.. I prefer reliable guns that don't have a long track record of failures.
That said, 3 of my favorites are Sig, H&K, and Walther. They are some of the best guns I've had the pleasure to own.

I have been anti-glock for a long time. I think the main reason is the "macho hype" of "lookit ma glock" that prevailed a while ago. It became a fad of sorts and I tend to ignore fads.
That said, I really like my Sigs and Walthers and Colts and S&Ws and Rugers and Remingtons and J. C. Higgins and Savage guns...that's just off the top of my head, I can't remember all the guns I have in the safes. I can't remember the brands of my shotguns or older WWII rifles or some of the .22 rifles...oh well.

Wouldn't own a Hi-Point.
Love my CZ, Walther, and Sig. Need more CZ's and Walthers. There's a PPQ calling my name somewhere.

My best friend bought a hi point to carry on his 4 wheeler and tractor when in the woods. The thing has held up to dirt and mud as good as any. He bought it for the reason of it being cheap and wouldn't worry about damaging or losing it. He also keeps it by his bed at night. It's a solid gun. Every gun has its value.
And the PPQ is a sweet gun. I love mine!

I can't say there's any one gun I'll never own but I'd never pay for a AK.

I'll add more as I think of them. This not meant to flame one brand or another. Please refrain from doing so.
What are your non-buys?

Guns I won't ever own
this is a strange thread. I don't care about a gun that's in someone else's holster or safe. carry what you like. just carry something.
I'll carry whatever fits my needs and I'm uninterested if someone else thinks it's ugly or if I don't get to be the guy on the firing line with the unique gun. I envy skill, not hardware.

I would never carry a pistol from any of these brands:
Taurus
Hi Point
CZ
Desert Eagle
Tanfoglio
Sarsilmaz
Tisas
