never met a pistol I didn't like.......being able to afford them is another matter and the only reason I don't own any SIGS, HK's or custom 1911's.

Kimbers are the guns you show your friends....Glocks are the ones you show your enemies.
For me its Glock mainly. I've bought one (30), and it sat on my shelf for a month un-fired. I eventually traded it in... just had no desire to shoot it. The other one I never consider seriously is Kimber.
Funny. I was not a Glock fan but bought the G29 because I wanted a 10mm compact for carry. Was very skeptical of Kimber but bought a Stainless Target II in 10mm because I wanted a fullsize 1911 in 10mm, and it was available at a good price. Plan on selling the Glock, and I am in the process of testing the Kimber to see what it can and can't do.
The Kimber is dead on accurate for me. I'll probably keep this one.
I'm not sure what purpose a generic statement like this serves?
Pretty sure every known manufacturer will appear on this list eventually and if anyone actually heeded the list there would be no guns left to choose from.
Kelt Tec- NEVER AGAIN! biggest POS ever. they look and feel like they were made in a Chinese garage with dim lighting
Glock- don’t fit my hand well
Springfield- pretending to be American
Taurus- crap quality
Jennings Bryants etc Saturday night specials
Kahr- religious cult association
Kimber- way too overpriced!
Some others like H&K I would consider if I had a larger budget but I don't. Plus I've shot Sigs, Steyrs, H&Ks etc and have never found them to be more accurate than my middle of the road Rugers. I'd rather spend my money on ammo to train with.
To each their own though.
I don't carry a gun to look for or start a fight. I carry one to finish a fight I never wanted to be in.
I was adament before that I would NEVER own a revolver.... now my primary carry is a Ruger LCR chambered in .38 Special. Right now I have no desire to ever own a Glock because I think they are flippin' ugly, but who knows. One tings for sure- I wont say I wont buy a certain brand or model until I have first hand experience.... personally I thought my Taurus PT99 was a heck of a gun, but a little too bulky to carry.
I would limit my list to models that don't "feel" right. If it is not a comfortable grip for me, it would affect my ability to shoot it. I don't find a brand as being on my "NO" list.
Any .410/.45 revolver. Or 28 gauge revolver for that matter.
The OP Said "Own" Not carry ; ) PS Big difference
