Question How many firearms do you own and how often do you buy?

I was born and raised in California, where purchasing a gun and getting a carry permit can be a pain in the ass. I moved to the gun friendly state of Texas six years ago and now I find myself addicted to purchasing good looking firearms. I want to know how many firearms you guys own and also how often do you purchase a firearm or trade up. I've bought two guns within the past 3 months and I'm already thinking of my next purchase! Some of my anti-gun friends think I've gone overboard with this new "fetish" of mine, but I wanted to know the purchasing habits of others to see if I'm alright or nuts!!

I own more than I need but less than I want. How often do I buy? It varies.

About 1 pistol a month on average, however I am now hooked on SIGs and I have bought three in September and ordered another yesterday. And I am married... Just no kids so I can afford the toys.

Don't ask about the watches... Those are secretly funded... She'd kill me if she realized how many I actually have.

I think "how many guns do you own" is kinda like asking a Texas cattleman how many head of cattle he owns. If the information is volunteered, fine, otherwise, it really is not polite to ask.

However, that never seems to stop people, so my stock answer is "not enough."

As far as how often I buy, that's a little less personal. I buy when there is a convergence between "when the spirit moves me" and "when I can afford it." Most of the time I research my next purchase so I buy wisely. but on a few occasions I've gone to the big gun shows here in Phoenix with a few Franklins in my pocket and came home with something I never anticipated buying - just tripped over a "find."

I'm not even married but I feel guilty every time I hold one that I know I don't need.
