1911 Buyers Guide
I know many here are considering a 1911 as a carry weapon or for range use. I wanted to show folks a review done by a man that at the time this review was done owns almost 70 1911's. They range in price from basic to full custom. It's a great reference.

I think if anyone has a 1911 that isn't in his review should write one similar to his within the thread.

Believe it or not, you can get a basic mil spec 1911 for $500 or so. I purchased a Para Ordinance GI Expert for $400 from a friend NIB. Im like the next guy and want a nice custom 1911, but I wanted to carry one for a while to see if I liked it first, and I have not won the lotto either...I LOVE IT. Will be looking for either a SA Champion, or an EMP in the near future, but then the price is a tad higher.
