new Glock that will soon my my EDC

i cant believe i did it but I traded my M&P 9c today for a Glock 19 that is in awesome condition and has Trijicon sights. I havent shot it yet but cannot wait to take it to the range so i can feel comfortable carrying it as my EDC weapon.

I have the .40 cal version of that same Glock (G23) and it is a charm!

I'm jealous of those trijicon sights though, but I do have a CTC laser for mine.

Why did you trade in your M&P? I'm on the fence with the g19 and 9c.

it was a tough decision to make the trade. i loved the way the M&P felt in my hand and it shot fantastic. I had wanted a 19 for quite some time as the grip is a little bigger than the M&P as is the round count in the mag. The 19 also feels good in in my hand too which cant be said for the Glock 26 which i also considered when i bought the M&P. the guy willing to trade me straight up and the 19 having Trijicon sights helped too. if he any other Glock, i wouldnt have done it but i really wanted the 19.

Lets hope the trade works out for you. Did the person you traded say why he was getting rid of it? Hopefully you didn't trade a functioning gun for a lemon.

i'll work on the avatar this evening. thanks for pointing that out. as far as the trade, he didnt say why he was trading it but i know him from the LGS i shoot at so i feel pretty confident he is ok. He's worked there for years so i have no real reason to doubt the functionality of the 19...its 4 years old based on the factory shell casings that came with it and he claims to have only fired 400 rounds through it.

You traded a great pistol for a great pistol. Glad it worked out for you....been carrying the G19 for quite a while, and also has Trijicons. For concealed carry, the G19 is tough to beat.
