    I would get a full size XD so that manual of arms is the same. The Beretta and its clones have manual safeties and they function exactly opposite of most guns.

    Actually, one thing Taurus got right on their clones, is the safety was changed, and reversed. So it is down off the slide, and you push down on your thumb to disengage.

    I would trust the PT100 series the most out of all the Taurus semi autos. They have held up better than the Berettas in long term use as rentals. The .40 ran fine while the Beretta 96 we had broke two locking blocks.
    Try not to screw up so bad they name the screw up after you. (Station 15 saying)
