While not my choice, I'd be a bit concerned about that rubber grip snagging on everything. But there's a time and place for everything.

It is so small and light, even with lightweight shorts, carrying this is a breeze. With the DeSantis pocket holster, the gun stays put and draws smoothly so far.

I can carry my Glock 19 in gym shorts and no tshirt in 115 degree Arizona summer and stay concealed with a belly band.
under the gym shorts more around my waist actually lol
Glad you can carry a full sized duty gun in any and all conditions. I can't. I carry a CZ75 9mm as my carry gun most days. I go to a Kahr .380 in a beltslide or pocket holster some days, and now can throw this mini revolver in my pocket as one other option.

We had a thread here a few months back and some folks pointed out that there are 22 Mag 8 shot snubbies available. I think those would be better choices, but then might as well go to 38 sp. E.g., ULTRA-LITE MODEL 941 .22 MAG. REVOLVER IN BLUE STEEL

I would consider something that small. The .22 might not stop a threat as quickly as the larger calibers but in the right hands the .22 is a capable and proven killer.

I understand post and replies now. Carry his new find of gun in left pocket while in his right pocket carry a great pocket gun. I like because with 2 guns he does not need to reload.
