This is re-packaged Expanding Full Metal Jacket. I like the "LEO" 9mm 124gr +P version, but it has become impossible to find. Every time I email Federal, they give me a different production date. I've given up on them. I do NOT like the lighter 105 gr "civilian" version, which is now what they are trying to sell as "Guard Dog."

If you want an expanding bullet that won't get plugged, wrapped in fibers, or crushed, you can look into the Critical Defense line by Hornady. Another option in PowRBall ammo, but they are also light for caliber.

Or, you can just use Gold Dots, Golden Saber, etc etc.

I normaly carry. Hornady critical defense, gold dots or winchester pdx although my 1911 really like winchester home defense
