    Sorry Glock guys...

I really tried to like the 19 I got a few weeks ago. But the darn thing really tore up my knuckle. This was just drawing and aiming. So, away it went. Make way for a new 226.......

Sorry to hear that. I cannot imagine how a 19 would tear up your knuckles from just drawing and aiming. I can run hundreds of rounds through mine in one session w/ no discomfort at all. I can also run dry fire drills for w/ no issues as well.

Oh well, the 226 is a fine weapon too. Better luck w/ it.

It is better to have your gun and not need it, than to need it and not have it!

I've never heard of this complaint before. Are you sure its not a training issue?

would be interested to know exactly how you accomplished that almost entirely impossible feat, and why it was the fault of the Glock. I have a few Glocks, and I am sitting here scratching my head with this one.

SIG 226 is a nice pistol....but not for CCW. Good luck.

IMO, i don't think you can find a better engineered, proven reliable, and simple weapon to fire/clean/maintain other then a Glock....especialy the g19 of all weapons?

Add me to the list of people wondering how you tear up your knuckles. Maybe if you posted a video of what you were doing, it would make more sense.

BTW, I have always been the empathetic type and take in stray Glocks....just saying.

It made me wonder too. So I did some research to see if I was the only guy to have that happen. The first knuckle from the hand on the middle finger of the firing hand gets squeezed VERY hard against the bottom of the trigger guard. Turns out I am not the only guy to have this issue (every other handgun I have owned or even shot didn't grind like this). Some wit named it "Glock knuckle", a term new to me. I figure it is a training issue if special training is required to correctly grip and fire a Glock. No other handgun I have ever held did that. Too bad. I really wanted to like that gun. Probably my small hands. Oh well. Another SIG will ease the pain. Go easy, Glock guys. Not calling your baby ugly at all. But flame if you must.

Do you have that problem with Glocks of other sizes or just the G19?

Too bad the G19 didn't work for you, but better to have something you like, right?!

Do you have hands that are the size of small cars?
It is surely true that you can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink. Nor can you make them grateful for your efforts.

How dare you tell the glock fanboys that their choice isn't right for everyone! Shame on you!
