No Guns, No Safety, No Peace.
Guns are like sex and air...its no big deal until YOU can't get any.
Glad to see your XD's are holdin up! I love my XD .45. It pulls double duty as my duty weapon and my EDC. Couldn't be happier.
Love the ergonomics, features, trigger, shootability.....of my 4" 9. Field strips in seconds with no tools. Next one is the Sub Compact.

Just bought an XD40sc about a month ago and couldn't be more happy with it. I bought it to pocket carry in my oversized front hiking pants pockets when I am in the mountains on one of my frequent hiking trips. I have been amazed at how accurate I can shoot this thing. This is my third XD and I love them all.

Well, I did it - I picked up my second XDm9 3.8 Compact yesterday morning.
My current XDm9 3.8 Compact has already seen about 7,000 rounds (bought new this past January). I wanted to stop putting too much more wear on her, but I realized from my last class with Bill Holcomb (Three Tango Firearms Training) that getting good practice running my true-EDC is simply critical.
So, I decided to double-down, and buy a second to devote solely to class- and range-work.
Given that it's going to be a class/range-gun, I figured that I'd get a little fancy![]()
. I got the bi-tone. 8)
I put about 200 rounds through her (about 100 of the 147 gr. Federal HSTs that I've come to love, plus another 100 or so of my usual WWB range-fodder). Can't really say anything except that it shoots just like its older sister. :P
There's truly very little excitement to be had, in buying a twin of something that you already own!![]()
