    I have some pistols that I've not shot in over a year and don't really have plans to shoot anytime again. I've started thinking about selling them. Unfortunately, it just seems like I should have a 1911 even if I never shoot it.

    I did the same thing. I looked at all my guns that I have and sold 3 out 4 gun I own.Kept my glock 23.It's my everyday carry.
