LOL, that's the same reason I got my Glock 17 ! I bought the 26 first and was instantly drwn to the full size 17 !
The funny thing is I never like the mini Glocks before, the bug came out of nowhere and I had to have a 26. I was then hooked buying the 17, then the 21 next !
I keep the 17 + 26 as a set in another case. I got the 26 for summertime carry or if I have to go to an event like a wedding or something. I can conceal the 17 with no problem though. The 26 is nice when you don't feel like carrying a lot of weight.

Great choice! The G19 is probably the perfect pistol.

I own a G26 and a G29SF, and I am seriously considering adding a Glock in .357 Sig (very impresive caliber), maybe the G32 or G33.

What do you carry it in? I use a gen 3 G19 for my EDC and carry in a Galco Royal Guard and love it.

I carry my G26 in a new holster from Jeff at HaysHolsters(it's in the mail as I write this!) and the 19 fits in the holster I got for my "late' M&PC 9mm from Bear River Holsters and one I've had for some time from Simply Rugged. I'll probaby have Jeff make me an IWB/OWB for the 26. And I think one other holster I have from Jeff might fit the 26 as well.

Good choice and smart move. I got rid of a POS M&P 40C and bought a Glock 23. No regrets at all.

    Thumbs up

    Excellent choice, Sir!

The G19 is my casual carry gun. It's the most reliable of the Glocks, right there with the G17 (IM0). I say that because women and children can shoot it without a bobble. G23's tend to jam when limp wristed by Granny or the kids. And it's the most popular gun I see come through the training classes, too.

I get ribbed a lot about carrying a "mouse gun" but I don't care. The wife and kids can handle the caliber just fine. So we all have the same ammo, mags and weapons type. And the best part about it is that G17 mags and the 31 round BIG STICK mags all work just fine in it!

    Stay safe!
