    Glock 36 which has turned out to be perfect for me.
    Glock 36, 30SF, 31, 32, 21 Gen4 - Carry guns
    Ruger Mini-14 and Remington 870 by the bed both wearing Surefire lights.
    Always carry a knife-they are handy to have

    All my .45s are single action.
    The 1911 is an antiquated weapons system but then again, so am I.

    Colt Officer's Model...SA. That has a 3.5" barrel and because it was a 1st year production I've had work done to prevent "burping" with HP's, although I'll carry with 230 FMJ and lose NO sleep. Good Luck in picking a 45ACP !

    I like ksblazer's "I don't always carry a .45 ....". I often carry a .45. It usually is a Para Companion or Para CCO [light double action - LDA] or a para double stack in the officers model size [also LDA]. If I carry full size, I carry Colt gold cups or kimber. I also carry DA revolvers in .45 acp and .45 Colt.

    Glock 36 in a Crossbreed Supetuck, is my EDC. Carries really well.
