Be careful of Streichers. They will take your money and the product may be on backorder. I ordered HST a couple of years ago and after 9 months I still had no ammo. I had them swap it for Gold Dots because I was tired of waiting.

In my area out of four Walmarts only one has Fedral HST in 9, .40 & .45.
Another sells the good PDX Winchester stuff and the other two only sell the standard Federal, Winchester WB, etc...

So it really depends on YOUR Walmart..

I've had no problems with 2 orders from Streicher's. Items on Backorder have been shown as such on their website.

I agree, and I admit, that I ordered knowing it was on back order. I was told, at time of my order, that they were about 3 weeks behind on filling orders. Three weeks turned into 9 months. I wasn't trashing SPS, just saying to beware of back order merchandise shipping times.

I'm not sure if they carry it in multiple calibers I could have sworn I saw some on cheaperthandirt.com. Either way good site to check out. My buddy and I have had no problems ordering there.

Most dealers are selling this for under $20. It's more than a simple "overrun"; it's a multi-million round run in anticipation of a continuing government contract that didn't materialize. My LGS bought 3 million rounds by themselves.

BTW, nice job on quoting Federal's advertising.
