Is your House Gun the same as your Carry Gun?

Just checking to see if you guys have the same gun as your house gun and carry gun . Both mine are 45acp but my house gun is larger and has more ammo in the mag.My carry gun is a H&K USP Compact 45 and my House gun is a H&K USP 45.Both guns have the same night sights on them but the full size USP has a light on the rail. I also have a hand held light in my night stand. So lets see what you guys are using.

When they come off my belt right before bed, they become the house guns.

House gun (in bedroom) is a semi-auto 12 GA otherwise my carry gun is always close by.
I carry to protect myself and my loved ones from the BG's. Not to solve societies problems. That said: if more carried the deterrent would only have a positive overall effect on those problems.

House, Glock 19. Carry either Ruger LCR, Kahr PM9, or Glock 26, sometimes G19.

Right now I am waiting on my PA carry permit so I guess they are all house guns at the moment, but my glock 19 is what I carry around the property. This will become my carry gun full time in the next week. I add two more spare mags on the night stand to give me 46 rounds of 9mm on the nightstand. If all hell breaks loose and that won't get it done I have my Marlin 336 with 6 rounds of 30-30 in the closet with a cartridge belt that holds 20 more 30-30 rounds. If that does not get it done I think I would need an airstrike.

Fear the man with one gun. Especially if that gun is a Glock 19.

It's pretty hard to conceal a Remington 870 Magnum so I'd have to say no.

Nope...EDC is G36. Nightstand is G19, under bed is a Mossy 500A loaded with 00 buck.

If we are talking about handgun, then I would say not always. The House handgun is usually the XD .40 service size (4 inch barrel) but the gun that seems to get carried the most here recently is the Kahr CW9. Sometimes though the XD gets carried outside the house. If I get the grip reduction done on the Glock 23 then it may become the all the time go to gun.

My true house gun though is my AR and the wife has her Mossberg 500. So I think we are covered pretty well.

Carry gun is a Sig P238 (easier to carry and conceal). House gun is a Beretta PX4 Storm (over twice the ammo in the magazine and bigger caliber). Both fully loaded and ready to rock and roll if the need arises.

Until I started carrying my house gun was my full size Kimber custom eclipse. I find now that I am carrying I just keep my carry with me around the house and it follows me to bed. Carry gun is Kimber ultra eclipse. Only 1 less capacity and I do not have to worry about securing and switching out guns at night.
