Was at the gun store today and i looked at a springfield xd sub-compact, a sig sauer p-250, and a s&w m&p compact is there anyone here that has anything bad to say about any of these 3 guns for carrying.

XD Sub Compact is a chunk, but a great shooter.
P250 has a lousy trigger.....SIG Pro is a much better gun if you want a SIG for a decent price.
M&P Compact is a keeper and my choice of the three listed. I have a 9mm that is one of the most accurate guns I own....that says a lot.
Kimbers are the guns you show your friends....Glocks are the ones you show your enemies.

Looking is one thing, Shooting it is another. Go to range that rents and try them out. Had xd, too heavy in my opinion,went back to glock.

Well, I like my SA XD40 SC, shoots and carries just fine. But you should really try them out before buying any of them.

of course your gun store guy likes that idea. He gets to sell the same gun twice. Be sure and ask him how much he would pay you for each gun after just owning it a week.......and you will get the 'ol deer in the headlights look.Yeah the dealer was trying to sell me on that principal too. S&W M&P ..I have and carry the 45...love the weapon...my 13 year old daughter can handle it..not to shabby for a fullsize 45, and yes she can group her shots with it...

+1 on this feedback on the XD and M&P. I love my M&P 9mm and it is a great shooter and very accurate. No experience with the P250 or any SIG.
