Depending on bullet construction, twist and a host of other factors...
This could really do well, or fail miserably.
(Is someone gonna do a Glock barrel for this round? Because that would really help it take off.)
I'd like to see Glock offer a pistol in this chambering.
(I'll add that to my pie-in-the-sky Glock wish list along with a carbine and single-stack pocket nine.)
Oh my, as long as the ammunition isn't crazy expensive.... sounds good!
Interesting. I wonder if it has the same breech peening issues that the .224 Boz (a 10mm case necked down to .224) had.

Blame it on Sixto - now that is a viable plan.
Should be interesting, reminds me of the 256 Win Mag, great little round but never really caught on.

It is definitely an interesting concept.

Similar idea to the FN 5.7mm?

It would have been better if it was a .22 necked down from a 10MM.
Everyone knows that the 9mm isnt even in the same league as a 10MM and it would have been one smokin round. You might have had .223 performance out of a handgun, or close to it anyways.

that definitely sounds interesting. just what will they think of next?![]()
I am guessing this is the same as Fred Craig's 22 MicroMag. I emailed him back in November 2010 and asked him about his gun and he told me that the ammo this uses is the necked down 9mm using 40gr. Back then he also told me that the price of his gun would be approx. $979 and that for an extra $150 more you can purchase 9mm barrel for it. Also that he was teaming up with Armscor in building this gun and the ammo. I wonder if he is just going through Armscor now which is really Rock Island Armory ??? Here is his website. God Bless
