Only a one year warranty on Beretta's?

Read that on another board but couldn't find that info on the Beretta site. Anyone know about their warranty. I heard it was one year but they gave you an extra year if you sent in your warranty card within a certain time frame.

You're covered for a total of three years (they call it 1+2 coverage) as long as you're the original owner and either send in the registration card or do it online. I registered my Beretta PX4 Storm online and they sent me an email with the 3 year coverage confirmation.

I've sent in the warranty cards on all of mine, but they have been flawless so it didn't matter...

I wasn't knocking but it just kind of caught me by surprise. My S&W's all carry a liftime warranty. I suppose I just expect similar from Beretta. I'm actually debating between a Beretta 92fs and a CZ75.

IMHO : If you haven't beat it to death within a year, you never will. Doubt you will ever need the warranty.

One year warranty is pretty weak IMO. I like Beretta but I have always heard their CS needs work.
