    New Gun for the Wifey!

So we're sitting on the sofa last night watching a bit ot television... and suddenly my wife blurts out that she has been thinking about a semi-auto for a new gun. She has been a die hard revolver woman since she started shooting and carrying. She has shot all mine but does so with a grimace.... So I ask her why the sudden change of heart? Higher capacity was the answer! SWEET! Now the fun begins... trying MANY MANY different guns until she finds one she's comfortable with!

That's the main reason I got a semi-auto, I only had 5 shots in my snub!

If she does not like yours then be prepared to talk about a smaller cal. than you carry.
IE if you carry .40 or .45 she may like a 9mm or .380 better
PS. I,m a 9mm guy myself so I know where shes comes from with the recoil.

The grimace was due to the fact she just didnt like semi-auto's, not cause of the caliber... she actually like to shoot my buddies 454 Casull and his S&W 500. The grimace was due to too many moving parts she said, but I made her shoot them to get familiar with them, JUST IN CASE.
It going to be something with a 9mm or a 40 flavor, but thats up to her... .380 is too small. And she actually said the .40 feels like less recoil to her than my 9mm. Sort of duller not as sharp of a recoil she said. Cheers..........

Cool , I,ve meet more that one woman that liked heaver cal. guns than me
By the way I carry the Glock G26(9mm) and if she likes the .40 cal the Glock G27 is a
very good gun and a high round count for its size.

Revolvers are nice, but semi-auto is awesome. If she wants simplicity and higher capacity I gotta recommend the GLOCK 26. My wife cound not grip the GLOCK 19 very well but she fell in love with a GLOCK 26 with a +0 Pearce pinky extension. It is a sweet little pistol.

if she wants a small .40, have her try a 3.8 XD, M&Pc and G27. i love my XD. i've heard great things about the M&P. I had a G26 and loved it. I had the +2 extension on my mags. I highly recomend the + extensions. more rounds and a better grip.
