I traded a Walther Ppks for my Kahr pm9 and one of the best. I carry daily in a front pocket holster. Also, remember to change the spring after 1000 rounds

He's on the endless search for the perfect carry gun. If you look for bad things about your gun, you will never have total confidence in either the gun or your own ability. You will never be content and end up selling something that you will later regret. Eventually you end up back where you started. Look for the positive things about your weapon, and you will grow in confidence and ability. If you trade you carry gun for the newest, latest and greatest, you put yourself on a hamster cage treadwheel to no where.
Kimbers are the guns you show your friends....Glocks are the ones you show your enemies.

I have a K40 that I've been carrying for over a year now. So far it's been 100% reliable and very accurate. Best of all it fits my hand like it was custom made for me.
Bad mouth them? Show me where. I've found a gun that meets my needs better, I've always had nice things to say about Kahr with the exception of spotty quality control lately it seems - nice try at starting unnecessary drama though. My Kahr's always ran flawlessly, never a single failure in my PM9 or MK9, I've never said any different so I don't know where you're pulling this out of.
If you don't count the nose dives when hand racking (Kahr recommends using the slide lock) then I've personally not had one issue but have seen first hand some of the junk that comes off the line and into the stores with piece of polymer hanging and unfinished... if that's me bad mouthing Kahr then so be it, maybe they need to get their act in gear. Not every Kahr problem is user induced...
I bad mouth the Vikings every year too, but I'm still a fan. :)

Disclaimer:
My opinion shouldn't be taken seriously due to the fact that I've been shooting guns for over 30 years and have only recently been active on gun forums, where all the real world knowledge apparently is.
CW9
Love, love, love it. Disappears in a pair of shorts, and so comfortable one forgets it is there. Dead on accurate and has never failed to put one down the pipe. My 10 year old shoots it with ease too ;)
I tell all my friends about it. My step son was bragging about his XP40 he handed it to me. While I was admiring it I pulled m CW9 out and handed it over for his inspection. Let's just say he is now shopping for one for himself.

I have a PM9 and p45. Both have run with no problems. Are good little guns.
I feel I need to post an update. After three weeks at Kahr my CM9 came back to me working perfectly. No more problems at all. After 300 rounds with no problems ( one nosedive doesn't count) it is my EDC when weather and clothing allow. Very accurate with my CM9. Love the gun. Carry with Hornandy CD ammo.![]()

Oh by the way THANK GOD FOR GOV. SCOTT WALKER.
CM9 in a N8Tactical Pro at 4:00.
I carry it every single day. I think if I had a gun that was any bigger I would find reasons not to carry to some events, but this CM9 is the PERFECT size/shape/weight/comfort. I've put over 500 rounds through it and haven't had any malfunctions. This thing is insanely accurate out to a range beyond its intended use. I would rate this gun an above perfect 11 out of 10 stars.
Love my well broken in CM9, but envy the M&P Shield 9 my wife just brought home (we shot about 50 rounds through a demo M&P yesterday).
The Kahr runs Federal HST 147gr and Speer Gold Dot 124 +P defense ammo / Speer Lawman and PMC Practice ammo - zero issues - 50 Federal/50 GD/400 rounds total (roughly - I only carefully counted the first 200 break-in rounds).
What impresses me about the CM9 is the trigger, it's fun to shoot, and very easy to shoot well.
But she HATES the CM9.
Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.

Just picked up a P380 this afternoon! So excited to go and shoot it! I just disassembled and cleaned it up (Hubby will be surprized, he was asleep in the chair the whole time). Hope to have as good performance as the PM9.

I love my CM9 too, but I brought home a Shield, thinking my wife might like it better for the slightly larger size & better ergos (and if she didn't - oh well...). Turns out I'm the one that likes the Shield a little more, and she has taken a real liking to my CM9. So, a win-win!
