Had an Mk9 for 'bout a year, shot good carried O.K. except the grip frame was so small I just could'ent draw it with any speed.
So I fixed that problem by replacing it with a Kahr K9.
Love my K9 fits my hand like a glove more accurate & just as reliable as my MK9!

But I sure do Miss that little MK9.....

But they seem to be such a hit or mostly miss. I have been to Kahr's forum and the CM/PM thread seems to support this theory. I read too many once bit twice shy postings.

Kahrs are built with really tight tolerances and they recommend a 200 round break in. Most folks that have issues with Kahrs buy the gun, run straight to the range, and then whine they had FTE, FTF and proclaim the Kahr a piece of junk. FFFFFTTTT!!!
Break the pistol in properly by racking the slide about 500-1000 times before you ever fire a round, and your first range session will be as pleasant as mine has been with all three Kahrs that I own.
If all else fails in life......read the freaking instructions!!!

    CW9 here !
I'm surprised no one piped up and said TP45. Thats a great shooting gun. Justa' tad bigger than its cousins, but the felt recoil ..... wait a minute ! What felt recoil ?

I have a couple.. Love the Kahr pistol. IMO, it's one of the best concealed carry single stack options out there.

Should have a MK9 to add to the lineup next week, if I don't change my mind and go for the PM 9 instead.

CW9. Stopped counting after 6,000 rounds.

    I also have a G26, and a LCP.
I found the Kahr PM40 totally unreliable.
I traded the PM40 straight across for a NIB Ruger LC9, It has been 100% from the start, no firing 200 rounds, or racking the slide 500 times, just load it and shoot it.

Sounds like someone needs to try a "steel framed Kahr" to me.

As for the polymer framed ones, all I'll say is, they really do need to be broken in.

CW9 and CM9, both great pistols! One or the other always carried.

PM9 with night sights and CW9. CW went back to Kahr for a cracked frame. They replaced the frame and sent it back (new serial number of course). I havn't shot it since. Never had a problem from my PM9.
