CM9 on me now; nary an issue with it, my CW9, or K9. Thousands of rounds through them, no problems or malfunctions with any Kahr handgun to date. The CM9 is normally my pocket gun (since I can't even hit the floor with any of the pocket .380's it seems). Now, when I get out today, the little Kahr will be replaced by a somewhat larger pistol since it's chilly and I will have a jacket on.

I have a PM9 - but only because it is the only gun in its class. As soon as someone else makes a 9mm that is as small (or smaller), that takes +P ammo, that locks the slide open when empty, that has night sights, that has a CT laser available, and that does not have a thumb safety or a mag disconnect...I will likely buy it and rid myself of my fourth (and last) Kahr.

Why? My latest PM9 will not feed 147 gr ammo (Gold Dots) reliably. It will not feed from the 7-rd mag reliably. It will not reliably load using the slingshot or overhand method (yes, I know the manual says to use the slide lock lever...but when you have thousands of reps doing it differently with your Glocks, it sometimes happens that you revert to what you are used to doing - especially under stress). My current PM9 has over 700 rounds through it, and I did indeed rack the slide a whole bunch of times before using it the first time, so the "it needs to be broken in" excuse ain't flying over here.

Kahrs are finicky little beasts with tight tolerances - at least, the poly ones are. I have no personal experience with the steel ones. I only put up with it because it is the only game in town at the size it is at, with the specs I listed above. When some other maker comes up with some real competition to the PM9...I will likely give it a go, after it has been out for a year or so.

The couple MK's we have run great and get carried in a variety of ways. No issues with either. Would like to get a K9 one of these days.

For anyone having trouble with hand racking try Winchester PDX1 Bonded, works GREAT in my PM9 and never nose dives.

Great photos and nice guns everyone!

Took a couple new photos today after blowing the snow off the driveway.

I had to take my teenage daughter to get "Glamor Shots" for her 16th birthday....but your pistol? I gotta upgrade from my little Kodak. Those are some seriously nice pics, T71.

Hahaha... yeah, just something I enjoy, thank you! I'm better at product photography than people - inanimate objects are more patient. :)
