Hmmm.....if I had my 1911 refinished I'd take it in a heartbeat. Otherwise, my XD .45.
That is an easy one. My S&W 66-1 2.5" 357

Of the guns I own It would be hard to pick between the Glock 23 or XD .40 service size. I shoot both very well and I trust them both completely.
H&K USP Compact 45
Have Fun and Shoot Straight !!
Glock 36 with 2 extra mags.
NOT LIVING IN FEAR, JUST READY!!!
I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness,
nor the arrow for its swiftness,
nor the warrior for his glory.
I love only that which they defend.

Fullsize M&P 357 SIG. My favorite carry gun.
M&P 340 would have to be my choice. Having said that I may have to find a way to get one.
My reason for this as my choice is that I don't hunt but carry for personal defense and that is my priority.
G19.. but looking for a SP 101 357 3" then I would have two favorites
US Navy Veteren
Ruger SP101 357 3" Barrel
Taurus 65 357 Mag
Glock 19 Gen3
Walther PK 380
I half expected this to turn into a Glock thread, I am happily surprised to see the number of folks picking revolvers!Like bmcgilvray I would probably pick my smith model 27 for it versatility, however, my SA stainless loaded 5" 1911 is a close second.
"Don't start none, won't be none!"
Sig Sauer 1911 carry with CTC grips would be my first choice then the Glock 27
