One reason I like the Glock 21 is because it can carry a total of 14 rounds in its normal configuration. Is there another .45ACP pistol with more capacity? (Not asking about some weird 30 or 50 round magazines---just what can be carried.)

XD .45 also is 13+1.....Para makes some wide body 1911's with 14 round mags.
Kimbers are the guns you show your friends....Glocks are the ones you show your enemies.
FNP 45 has 14+1 as well and you can get factory 15 rounders for them.
FNP .45 Tactical holds 15+1 in a slightly extended mag.
I have a Springer wide body 1911 that holds 14+1 and accepts the para magazines. Not sure if they are made anymore.

I tried one of the KRISS .45 30-round replacement base plates with my G30SF and a G21 magazine. Every single round failed to feed for the first three magazine loads (first 2 with only 27 rounds per the KRISS representative's suggestion, last with 30 rounds). I put it back in my range bag. I'll eventually take the KRISS base off and put the original Glock base back on to return my G21 magazine to useful service. The KRISS .45 ACP base plate extension I will throw out in the trash.
That aside, G21 magazines work fine with +2 base plates for 15 rounds in the magazine.
Thanks. Sounds like 16 is the max. That FNH is a nice-looking pistol!

I have the FNP-45 (15+1) and think it is a great handgun.
