SIG 226 Stainless Elite (you guys are a bad influence)

Yeeks. You characters are about the worst influences I have ever run across. If I could stay off this forum it would probably save me a lot of money. But I can't, so I don't. Here's the new honey:

Not quite the ideal carry gun, as it is big and heavy. But so am I so it will be carried. Stainless slide, stainless frame, platinum price. Had to have it. My 229 carries quite a bit better than this will. But the new 226 has some style. It's a tank, but the most beautiful tank I have ever seen.

Will find out how she runs at our shoot on Sunday. Just for play. Will be a couple more weeks before the holster gets here. I just don't have the heart to stick that in a Blackhawk.

NICE gun! And, by the way, what are "friends" for if not to get you to spend your hard (?) earned money?

    Congratulations.

My EDC is a P220 and it doesn't feel heavy at all. I want to get a P226 or a P229 in .40. Can't decide which. I can carry the 226 with no problems since if is almost identical I size to what I carry now. I'm leaning towards the 229 as if is a compact. Got to make up my mind soon as I want to do this before the end of the year.

Congrats again on your new Sig.

I have a 229 E2 40. Good carry weapon. With the aluminium frame, it is much lighter than my 226.
