This J-frame owner would be VERY appreciative of a write-up and pics if you should get yours tuned..

Or, if anyone else has done it already I am sure feedback would be welcome here.

I'd be interested in what you define as "tune-up"?

I recently took my wife's 642 to a gunsmith; he put in a different spring kit and some polishing to improve the trigger.

Is the work I had done what you define as a "tune-up"....I expect there's more to it than just that--could you detail what you get with a revolver tune-up, as well as the benefits?

    THANKS.

I want the S&W Performance Enhancement Package. They check the entire gun mechanically and fix what needs to be.
