The Ruger MKIII 22/45 is the worst handgun in history to take apart, but is one of the funnest to shoot...
another reloading failure.
Kimbers are the guns you show your friends....Glocks are the ones you show your enemies.
The link said it was commercially reloaded, not Bubba'd. My buddy's was factory ammo through his G27, the sad part is that he is the only person I have ever seen that has experienced two Glock kabooms! Gen 27 Gen 3 and now Gen 4. Both times he said it felt like hitting a Nolan Ryan fastball with the wrong part of a wooden bat.

Does he re-chamber the same round on a regular basis? Could be a case of bullet set back.

To me, a kaboom is a kaboom. It's almost always a problem with the ammo, not the gun.
There are plenty of valid reasons to hate on the Gen4 Glocks. We need not reach.![]()

This Glock kaboom issue reminds me of how unfairly the Ford Pinto was treated. Back then folks acted like the Pinto was the only car that ever exploded during a rear end collision. I remember how every time you heard of a car bursting into flames you automatically assumed it was a Pinto.
Those of us that loved the Pinto knew it was not a design defect. It was operator error. Bad gas more than likely.

When the same guy has 2 kabooms with 2 pistols of the same brand and is convinced it is the pistols fault, I would wonder why he keeps buying the same brand of pistola. Give the other brands a chance to fail!
My buddy Bob is just glad he is still able to reach after the second kaboom. It's damn near like being hit by lighting twice.
Honestly he thought the first one was a fluke. After the second one is has been weary of handguns in general for the last few weeks. My shooting buddy needs to get back on the horse so to speak.

Pretty simple...Glock says, "No reloads!"
I guess some people can't follow easy instructions.![]()
"That I cannot do."
"Give this to, uh, Clemenza. I want reliable people, people who aren't going to be carried away. After all we're not murderers in spite of what this undertaker thinks."

Pretty much all Manufactures say no Reloads.
Just an FYI to all those that think only Glocks Kaboom, Google 1911 Kaboom, all guns can go kaboom. http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2...1911-blown-up/
