Holy Crap, Tacman,
That HP s fine.!!!!!!!!!!

This why you never use a brand name in your user name!
But it's O.K. Sooner or later you'll go back to your Glocks.
What's old is new again!
Question Everything!
It had been up for bid three times and no one ever touched it. I saw it last night and it had 2 hours left so I bid.
Spare mags, factory type, are hard to find and expensive. If anyone has a source or knows who makes HP mags for them please let me know.

Bryan, I am coming to Texas this summer. You and Jonconsiglio are on my list of people to see there. I'll bring along a Glock or two. Also will bring a couple of holsters for ya.
Tacman606, that a beautiful gun. I'm not sure if I want adjustable or fixed sights. But thanks for turnin up the dial on my "want" factor.
Ignorance is a long way from stupid, but left unchecked, can get there real fast.
Happy New Year !!!!!
Adjustable sights are great on target pistols however for me on a carry gun I like fixed sights like these Heinie Low Pro's.

Gman,
The late Stephen Camp had recommended the Garrity Gunleather "Changeling" IWB holster for thr BHP and after taking his advice I would say it would also be a good choice for the 1911.

Having just aquired two all steel "Snubbies" I too am thinking of thinning out the Glocks and adding a 1911.
Retirement has made me more "old school".
Nostalgia...... perhaps.
Stay safe bro.

You post these photo's and then wonder why we can't get enough guns? WOW, that is a beautiful piece and you, SOB, I just had to add another "Gotta have" to my list.

That's the kind of New Years resolution I wouldn't have any trouble keeping!

I'd also recommend some American-made steel/alloy pistols! I've fallen madly in love w/my 669 and hope to catch some deals on other S&Ws in the New Year!

I think I should be able to claim my guns as dependents on my taxes. I have to clothe them, feed them, clean them when they get dirty, keep them safe from bad people...
Combat tupperware gateway guns eventually get you hooked on the hard stuff.
If you're not careful it could lead to the Delta Elite 10mm.

When I leave the home port:
S&W 642 Airweight, Ruger SP 101, Colt Detective Spec., CZ RAMI, Kahr PM9, Kahr CW40, S&W Model 10-7, Glock 30, 19, and 26, Browning Hi Power, CZ82, Colt Commander, Dan Wesson PM7, Ruger LCP
Gotta help things along here, showing some vintage steel. The 1911 and the Hi-Power have my greatest respect among auto-pistols.
