Try not to screw up so bad they name the screw up after you. (Station 15 saying)

I was just about to pull the trigger on the Walther P22 (no pun intended) when I heard about the Ruger. Just looking for a range/practice gun and since the Ruger fires regular .22LR (instead of the mini-mag), this may be the one. My regular carry gun is a M&P 9c so the Ruger should be a good choice. Anyone shot one yet? Also, anyone know if it is Masschusetts compliant?

I handled one in the shop yesterday when I was picking up my new M&P 9. It is very cool little gun. Nice ergonimics, good looking, and solidly built. If I remember right, the price on it was $349.

Have to an eye out for one of those...
nope not MA compliant yet ruger usually takes about 6 months to make em compliant
We have been looking for a good 22 pistol to replace the Ruger 22/45 that we have. I like the 22/45 but to be honest, that thing is a cast iron pain to tear down to clean. As a result, it hasn't been fired in years. I think I will trade it toward an SR22.
Thanks for posting this.

If it is half as reliable as my SR-22 rifle it will be a welcomed addition to Rugers lineup!
