Loaded weights, both mags loaded with 230 grain ammo.

I'm surprised at how similar. Nice photos. So the Kahr is a bit shorter and a bit thinner, but has pretty much the same length of grip to get hold of. Not a lot of size savings, really, but enough to make a difference for many folks.

I have a K40 on the way, and everytime I see another photo such as this one, it makes be more anxious. My, they ARE nicely put together, aren't they?

I carry the MP45c, so I'm already a major 45c bigot...absolutely love it. But, I'd have to say anyone in the market for a small 45 would just have to take a look at the CW45. Very nice indeed, and the fit-and-finish looks to be 2nd to none and step above the Smith.

Great pics, thanks for posting. I was just saying in another thread that I do not find my CW45 much more concealable than my XD 45c (which is about the same size as the MP45c). As such, the Kahr often just sits in the safe because it doesn't hold as many rounds.

I love my M&P 45c (and also have a full size M&P 45), and find it just as easy to conceal as my CW45. However, I find myself carrying the CW45 more, due to the fact that it's almost 1/2 pound lighter in weight. With 6+1 in the gun, and 2 nice and slim 6 round mags, I've got 19 rounds of 45 ACP with me. Pretty good defensive payload, especially for my relatively tame lifestyle.

I don't see myself getting rid of either one. Love 'em both!

I love my M&P 45 compact, but I go to a Kahr CM9 when wardrobe dictates the smaller weapon.

For some reason, I am able to transition well between the two different triggers.

I got rid of my DA/SA guns, because it threw me off when shooting my old Kahr K9.

I may look at a CW45, or CM45 (when they come out) at some point
