How come no body wants a Glock 18? Fully Auto version of the Glock 17? Thats got to be on someone's list... ok It can be on mine!
1:M&P40 good round count and good stopping power. (My EDC)
2:M&P45 okay round count but the classic .45ACP round has proven itself in combat over the last century.
3:S&W Model 19 .357 Magnum If the U.S. Navy Seals trust it so can I (and because it was the first handgun I ever shot)
4:M&P9 (only reason I chose 9mm, is so when the .40cal ammo runs out I can pick-up 9mm ammo, just ask the U.S. Military about this theory that Nato got them to buy.)
5: Glock 18 Fully Auto

Accuracy ALWAYS WINS! So carry what you can hit with.
If you find yourself in a fair fight your tactics stink.

I said Glock but looking at what I have seen through multiple deployments I thought of this
Glock 17/19/22/23/21- Worldwide adoption my military/LE simple to use and maintain. Common worldwide.
Hi-Power- the foreign units that have it swear by it.
1911a1- Still a favorite of front line trigger pullers.
Sig 226/228- The guys that have them love them.
HK USP- German units have awesome weapons.
These weapons all have something in common, they are reliable and accurate. I would happily carry any of them and would have gladly traded my M9 for any of them.
Glock 36, 30SF, 31, 32, 21 Gen4 - Carry guns
Ruger Mini-14 and Remington 870 by the bed both wearing Surefire lights.
Always carry a knife-they are handy to have
Always carry a reload-You probably won't need it but it is good insurance .
Always carry a light- To see in the dark
