Most people put mag extensions on a G26 to have a place to put their pinky. Well, after you do that you have a G19 sized gun (The grip is what makes it harder or easier to hide). You might as well skip the middle man and just buy the 19.

Same sentiments here. G19 (9mm) or G32 (.357Sig and .40SW with extra barrel) are compacts of the same size. About 0.8" more in length and height than the subcompacts. Widths the same. Get added slide weight and sight radius in exchange. Also get a little more velocity. Compacts have a rail for an optional flashlight.

The fun part is trying to figure out what to get, getting accessories for it, and then shooting it!

After visiting my local gun shop & held the G26 & the G19, I have to agree with you. I have a few carry weapons & the 19 will be GREAT to have in my small arsenal.

I looked back at old post & found this... We'll I never did get that G26 nor G19... Still on my to buy list. However, I did purchase the G30's. LOVE IT. Waiting a couple of months to save some $$$$$$ because I want the G19 next.

I am thinking of a G27 for me in the future. I shot one once and found them somewhat uncomfortable to grasp. I need to rent one and give it another tryout.

I love my gen 3 23 iwb. Sometimes carry my gen 4 27 in shoulder holster as back up gun depends on part of town I will be in.

I have the 27 (in the FDE like the G33 above) and it's great. It's a bit snappy, but in terms of conceal-ability, it's good for EDC.

I carry a G26 gen4 about 80% of the time and a G19 gen3 the rest of the time. The 26 conceals easier with the shorter grip so I mostly carry it IWB. The 19 has a longer grip that is more difficult to conceal so I usually carry that OWB. Here is my EDC Gear:

Got a G20 I carry as back up. Bought a G29, and a G30s, but the're still sitting in the boxes. Bought a funky holster for G29, and don't like it enough to use it yet (OWB). Still shopping for leather for G30s. G20 is a pretty good shooter.
