After looking at it, my first reaction was, WOW got to add that to my other Kimbers. Reading down I then see a $1,400.00 price tag. Are you kidding me, for a .380? Back to looking at the EMP again...

Any company that ships a pistol with one mag should be pistol whipped with their own gun, especially if it costs that much.

Me too. Maybe buy a 938 to keep it company. Two guns for the price of one compared to the Kimber.

Even if the Kimber was $500, I'd still buy a Sig P238.... or for the same money I could buy 6 P3ATs, 5 LCPs, 3 P380s ........ or 1 of each and a Glock 36 for backup.

No panic on scraping up the money. They did say it would be sometime in the third quarter, maybe. I'm still just astounded that they could say $1,400 with a straight face. Without a doubt, the marketing guys got some bad anchovie pizza when they were working on this one.
I do not have an appreciation for a .380 as much as some other folks. I'm more comfortable with a 9mm. Just did a Kahr CM9 with two magazines OTD for $395. Just that much more for the ammunition.

I really love my Kimber Target pistols, but the Micro CPD has already been done a long time ago with the Colt Mustang and now a new Mustang reintroduced by Colt. Sig bought Colt's patent so they have been producing the Sig P-238 for a long time now, which also looks like a mini 1911. The little Colt shoots great, but the Sig was less expensive and is an accurate, reliable, very comfortable to shoot pocket handgun that already accepts either a Sig Laser or even better the Crimson Trace Laserguard. I love my Sig P-238 HDW. I guess I am missing the point of how Kimber plans to sell the Micro even at the cheapest discounted price that I have seen of $1000. Especially since Academy is selling an all black Sig P-238 with the Sig Laser and holster for $480 over the counter.

Yea, I was afraid of that. Kimber's custom shop adds serious dollars. For $1500 I can get a Dan Wesson CBOB, this is insane and upsetting. I love my Kimber but won't be buying this one. Not when a S&W Bodyguard .380 with laser is $350 out the door.
