My CBOB 45 is at the 300 mark now. One FTF with ball ammo(reload)
and one with hot Double Tap JHP that was probably me limp wristing,
as I did the same with my 10mm.

I think it speaks well of a proven design with Dan Wesson features.
After being away from the 1911 for over 20 years, i'm really enjoying this gun:)

I bought one used and it turned out to be an early model (buyer beware). I did have to send mine back a couple times for serious, recurring FTE problems...the service people were good to work with and did get the issues ironed out. 750 rounds later without a single glitch...I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER

PT-111, I paid $750.00 + $52.50 tax + $807.50 out the door. Jess Gypin at On target Custom Gun Works did the work and it would be hard to find a nicer guy to work with. He also did a trigger job and polished the crown. When I got it home, I put on a set of clear Alumagrips, custom engraved with my military rank insignia. The grips are the same color as the gun. The gun is absolutely gorgeous now. I get pleasure just from looking at it and fondling it. I carry it all the time, it is considerably lighter and more comfortable than my DW Commander Bobtail. I got the grips from www.gungrips.net, another super guy to work with. He has several kinds of grips and will engrave practically anything you want on them.
