    Tired of seeing bobtails yet?

Here is another Scandium bobtail. Barrel crown, snakeskin housing, Heinie Straight 8 Night sights, 4 lb trigger, barrel throat and polish, ramp polish and reliability tuning. The S&W commanders really make a nice carry package. This one is done in all black, including the King's trigger. Finish is Duracoat Combat Black with a satin clear overcoat.
Sorry for the quick pics, but just lazy today.
    Enjoy.

    Jess

I could never get tired of looking at Bobtails! I love them.

The Bobtail got me interested in the 1911 platform again after having lost some interest in them for a while. Kind of a silly little thing to get me interested in them again but hey, who cares.

I could never get tired of seeing a Bobtail....

Celtic Pride, give some thought to Bobtailing a Smith & Wesson Scandium Commander. Arguably as good a pistol for most requirements, a lot lighter and much less expensive. See www.ontargetcgw.com and select "1911 Gallery" then "Smith & Wesson Bobtail." An absolutely beautiful gun that is a pleasure to shoot and carry.

Nice, gun, but I don't really care for bob tails. I much rather keep it as it is in that regard.

Maybe you should send it to me for a while to see how well it performs in a "dry climate"!
