OP, I noticed in the new CDNN catalog that they are selling SW M&P's in 357 Sig for $399. Seems like a heck of a good del to me

Maybe a P239 in 357, although it is kinda large for holding 8+1. Feels great though.

I'd go with the Glock 32 for your first .357 SIG.

Handles recoil a bit better than the G33 and you don't have to buy any mag plates to get it to fit your hand.

My M&P357 Compact is bigger and heavier than my Glock 33 for carry.. so it's on the auction block right now
along with my NIB Glock 31.

The next Glock for me will be a Gen 4 G32 that just came out.

Absolutely love my white hat holster. Another great option is American holster co. I'm waiting in that holster as they have 3 month wait. The white hat will do for EDC

I carry a Glock .32 quite a bit, I also have a USP Compact in .357 which is a great shooter. You picked a good round now the fun part is trying different platforms until you find the one you like.

Thank you guys for all the great suggestions. I may take a look into some of the Sig and USP options.. I have owned a Glock 31, and carried it as a duty weapon as an Armed Guard, and while Bounty Hunting. Never had to use it on the job, but I sure loved taking it to the range.

I think the G32 is only around 3/4" longer and higher than a G33. In return, a longer sight radius, some gain in velocity (50-75fps), more slide weight, and more capacity. You also get a light rail. Your G31 mags will fit either.

I have a 9mm G19 as a little sister to do bulk practice with before the G32. Same size guns and same holsters too.

Fitted T-shirt carry would call for a thinner gun (single column mag). Try an oversize T-shirt or an untucked button shirt. If I had to carry a Glock in fitted T-shirt attire it would be in SOB (don't bend forward or sit leaning forward to avoid imprinting).

my discontinued OD green G33....its a fun little beast.

^^^^^^^Plus you can use the mags from the 32 to gain greater capacity.^^^^^

Smith discontinued the .357 compact, much to my dismay, but still carry the FS.
A lot of the manufacturers are not having a very large supply of compact pistols in this caliber, due to private citizens not redily buying them, vs. the larger ones which law enforcement usually do not need to conceal.
