If we treat every gun as if it was loaded, then why not treat every individual as if they are armed.

I guess that's the difference between New In Box and Well Used..

As a side note, I finally picked up my SPNY last week. The shipper shipped it in an old sock. I am not sure if it is funny or not. It is definately a FIRST! My dealer was horrified as his 20+ years in the business it was a first for him. The gun was filthy and required about a can of gun scrubber, copper brushes and a generous amount of solvent to get it clean. It goes to the range tomorrow for reliability testing before becoming a CCW piece.

Huh... the French version would probably have come wrapped in a stale croissant...

    In a beret, actually.

Sort of raspberry colored. You know, the kind you find in a second-hand store.

That reminds me of the line in "Full Metal Jacket" when the Marine during a lull in the battle at Hue City says something to the effect of:

"We got a bunch of ARVN rifles for you. Never fired and only dropped once."

    BTW for the history impaired,
ARVN= Army of the Republic of Vietnam-South Vietnam
Why Ike, whatever do you mean? Maybe poker's just not your game Ike. I know! Let's have a spelling contest!
