Guess it depends on how big your pockets & if you got a subcompact. BTW, I'm a fan of the 5.11 Holster shirts.

Notice that every single demonstration draw with that thing resulted in the wearer pointing their gun at their own wrist on the way out. Add in a lot of stress and the fact that you can't get a proper firing grip while drawing, and this is a serious accident waiting to happen, IMHO.
Blowing your own hand off probably isn't the best way to start fighting for your life.
Just my opinion....
Battle Plan (n) - a list of things that aren't going to happen if you are attacked.
Blame it on Sixto - now that is a viable plan.
Not crazy about the holsters that point the piece at your junk either.
Ignorance is a long way from stupid, but left unchecked, can get there real fast.
I've been carrying my new PT740 slim in an Uncle Mike's #4 pocket holster with no problems. Works in jeans and dress slacks.
Over the last two years i have tried this pistol twice. It seems like a good idea that just didn't work out.
I really wanted to like it. It just almost did what I wanted it to do. that was the reason for the second try. Two different pistols, two different times. traded both of them.
How about a tuckable IWB holster such as CrossBreed supertuck?
And you know I could have me a million more friends, and all I'd have to lose is my point of view. -- John Prine (A Good Time)
I thought Taurus or charter arms was making a 40 SW revolver??? maybe not. bunker

I carry a cm9 kahr with no problems and the 40 is the same size. I wear Dockers , columbia, jeans and bibs. Fits in all well.
The Springfield XDsc fits just fine in my pocket but I am not wearing dress pants, usually cargo's are carpenter's. I don;t carry that way I just slid mine in my pocket after reading your question.
Charter Arms has a .40 "Pitbull" revolver, which I'm picking up from my local FFL tomorrow. biggrin2.gif

Depends on the gun, and on the pants. I wear Wrangler cargo pants, and I can carry my Bersa Thunder 40 in the pocket with no problems, I can carry it even better in my old Puritan Cargo pants, shame they don't make those any more. CCW Breakaways would be a good pants for pocket carry from what I've seen, but out of my price range. "poor boy, I can't see paying over 25.00 for a pair of pant"
A 1911 is Not an obsession, it's simply a recognition that it's THE Gun. :-) All others are runner ups. And hey, if all else fails, aim for the nose and fling it to knock out your foe. Let's see y'all do that with a kel-Tec. ;-)
