I can honestly saw I've never seen a more universally disliked holster on this forum. Somewhere there is one thread where this holster is a star, and that's the "What holsters DON'T you recommend" thread.

    And yes....I owned one.
I too have one of these and have watched the old guy demonstrate them many times at gun shows, but I wear wranglers and a tight belt and it does not work for me.

    .40 caliber pockets...

Guess it depends on how big your pockets & if you got a subcompact. BTW, I'm a fan of the 5.11 Holster shirts.

Notice that every single demonstration draw with that thing resulted in the wearer pointing their gun at their own wrist on the way out. Add in a lot of stress and the fact that you can't get a proper firing grip while drawing, and this is a serious accident waiting to happen, IMHO.

Blowing your own hand off probably isn't the best way to start fighting for your life.

    Just my opinion....

Not crazy about the holsters that point the piece at your junk either.

I've been carrying my new PT740 slim in an Uncle Mike's #4 pocket holster with no problems. Works in jeans and dress slacks.

That takes care of the "grip peeking out of the pocket opening" issue. However, there is still the weight of the pistol - a PM9/CM9 or PM40 weighs a good deal more than a .380, and for some that can become a comfort issue.

I've fired a PM40, and found it to be borderline uncontrollable in rapid fire, especially with one hand. In this size/weight of pistol, I would stick with a 9mm. Plus, you get an extra round in the mag.
Over the last two years i have tried this pistol twice. It seems like a good idea that just didn't work out.

I really wanted to like it. It just almost did what I wanted it to do. that was the reason for the second try. Two different pistols, two different times. traded both of them.

To me, in a under stress and shock situation, that would most likely fail.

How about a tuckable IWB holster such as CrossBreed supertuck?

IMO, the cellpalholster was a waste of my $$$.

Depends on the gun, and on the pants. I wear Wrangler cargo pants, and I can carry my Bersa Thunder 40 in the pocket with no problems, I can carry it even better in my old Puritan Cargo pants, shame they don't make those any more. CCW Breakaways would be a good pants for pocket carry from what I've seen, but out of my price range. "poor boy, I can't see paying over 25.00 for a pair of pant"
A 1911 is Not an obsession, it's simply a recognition that it's THE Gun. :-) All others are runner ups. And hey, if all else fails, aim for the nose and fling it to knock out your foe. Let's see y'all do that with a kel-Tec. ;-)
