If you won the lottery, what are the first 5 guns you would buy?
For me, they would be:
HANDGUNS
1. S&W Scandium Commander (which would get a Bobtail done on it.)
2. H&K P2000Sk with the LEM trigger.
3. XD .45
4. S&W M&P in .40
5. Beretta PX4
LONG GUNS
1. Springfield M1A SOCOM
2. CX4 Storm
3. Kel-Tec SU-16CA
4. Olympic Arms MIL 4 AR15 Rifle
5. Barrett M82A1
That's what I would want.....at least the first 5 of each. There would be so many more. I have already told the wife that if we ever win and we build our dream house, it would have one wing that was constructed of poured concrete with rebar all around, and it would be known as the arsenal. It would be large....ara:
Dang! That's going to be hard limiting it to only five. I pretty much got what I want as far as carry pieces, with the exception of a Colt 1908 or Browning 1910. I guess it would be mostly collectors at this point as far as handguns are concern.
They are as follows:
1.) Walker Colt (first issue Military/G-VG condition)
2.) Griswold & Gunnison (G-VG condition).
3.) SAA Colt/Tiffiany (First Generation).
4.) American Eagle Luger (One of the 1907 Army trial pieces).
5.) Henry Lapage French Dueling set.
Well, the first ones I'd get are the more available ones. Long term I'd get some class 3 guns, but they take longer so my first trip to Kittery would have me walk away with:
1. An HK USP of some sort in .45 caliber
2. Another Glock 19
3. Browning Hi-Power
4. Scandium S&W 1911 (the 1911SC I think)
5. the Luger Artillery model on display at the KTP.
Well, let's see...
Kimber Grand Raptor
Another custom 1911, perhaps from Gemini Customs
Springfield M1A
Flintlock Kentucky Rifle
and maybe a Kimber Ultra Ten
1. Lazzeroni Arms L2005LLR chambered in their .308 Warbird cartridge
2. Wilson CQB (mmm mmm good)
3. Barrett 82A1 (in .50 of course)
4. HK 91
5. 2.7 mm Kolibri (just for the novelty of it)
Quickly followed by the new Swiss minigun, an H&K G11 (of course I can't, but I'm dreaming anyway), S&W 500, and a pair of Freedom Arms .454 Casull with sequntial serial numbers.
And I'm with BCurry1, all the good classes I could get to and ammo by the case.
Springfield Armory 1911A1 Black Stainless
Springfield Armory XD45 Service Model
A Smith & Wesson .357 or .44 Magnum revolver (4"-6" barrel)
Glock 30
Springfield Armory 1911A1 Mil-Spec
Long guns:
Franchi SPAS 12
Rock River Arms AR15
A REAL Russian AK47
Remington 870 Wingmaster
A 30.06 Rifle (Not sure what kind)
Handguns:
Les Baer Thunder Ranch Special
S&W Thunder Ranch Model .45ACP revolver
S&W 637 revolver in .38 Super
Rorbargh R-9
STI, SV, or Briley Custom .38 Super full Open gun.
Long Guns:
Barett .50 BMG
HK MP5
Remington 700 Sedona W/ Varmint Barrel in 22-250.
CMP AR-15 with match grade barrel and trigger group
Les Baer flat top AR-15.
Nighthawk/Yam 10-8 Package, Yost-Bonitz's nicest package on a bobtail Commander, S&W PC 1911 (a DK stainless base), Springfield Pro, and a Don Williams or John Harrison package. I'm flexible, whoever is faster on the last one...
Man, you'd think I like 1911s.
I want an M4 Bushmaster, a Vang-Comp lefty 870 w/14 inch barrel...and can I trade the other 3 rifles for 3 more pistols, please? Never did get the S&W PC F-comp, PC 625, or Andy Cannon K-frame I wanted.
What I'd REALLY want after winning the lottery is to build an indoor range at my home so I could practice anytime I want... 24 hours a day, without taking off my PJ's, no matter what the weather is like, using whatever guns I have! :danceban:
