Glock 26 is the champ in that group. Even, If you would already owned all those guns, you will most likely find yourself carrying the G26 most of the time. You should also get the SP101 2nd after the Glock. It does not compete against the Glock 26. I think they complement each other. You should also consider an M&P, it is a seriously nicely built and reliable gun.

    ^^^^^^^I agree with this^^^^^^^^

If you can get two, I definately recommend the G29 and the SP101.

    Have fun!

For SD and HD we have the guns of choice and stock up on ammo. But then again I waste a lot of money on my Star Trek memorabilia so who am to say anythingLOL
    Its a sickness,so I'm told.

Well you have pretty good fund to spend.

You could get a nice 1911 for that kind of money.

Or you could get a nice Kahr TP45 and a Ruger 101.

How about a nice 357 in Smith and Wesson 6" M&P Thunder Ranch edition revolver?

You notice none of us have any issue with spending your money.

It's not on your list, and I don't see them mentioned a lot on the forum, but I own two CZ pistols....P-01 and SP-01 Tactical. Ergonomics and accuracy are fantastic, quality is superb, and heck, you can't beat their price. They seem underused in the US, but thy are a dream to shoot.

I own a G26, SP101 and 642 and all are fine handguns and you cannot go wrong adding any of these three to your stable.

    Smith 642-$410 otd
    Glock 26-$520 otd
    Springfield EMP-$1020 otd
    Sp101-...waiting to hear back

Seems like a great price on the EMP, especially when you consider that you're paying sales tax. A lot of the EMPs I see on GunBroker are going for $1100+.

Ok let me throw one more curve ball out there ... Went to a different ship today to check out a used Smith 642 for $350, great condition but had one little tiny mark (scratch) that I couldn't get past (for around $50 more I can get a brand new one out the door at the other shop) ..... Annnnnnyways, they had a used Springfield Loaded Ultra Compact .45 in there. Needed cleaned up but looked to be in great condition, some little fine scratches here and there in the stainless and a very faint "idiot" mark. Price was firm at $715 ... So $762 out the door. Has Springfield cocobola grips, night sights etc. I almost jumped on it, but wasn't sure how good that price was. Looking for advice from you fellas on that ..... Thanks!!
