North american arms 22 mag mini

I am considering a .22 mini mag revolver. Does anyone know if the lock back attached holster serves any purpose other than to clip it inside the top of a pocket. Would it get in the way trying to use the revolver in a hurry.

I considered the ''container'' grip deal - but felt it added too much size - and tho the std grips are small - with the right technique the lil fella is not too difficult to shoot.

I keep mine in a vest or pants pocket mostly so - extra bulk would be awkward.

I wasn't to impressed with the fold out handle, myself but everyone is different.

What worked best for me was a pocket holster.

Once again, I haven't done business with this site, but I do have one of the holsters they sell, which I purchased from another source.

For me it has worked well.

Also note, that the large leather backing can be removed by taking out the two flat brass screws in the bottom of it.

I have the NAA 22 LR Model and a NAA IWB with metal clip. I just pocket carry it in the holster. Too small to IWB for me. Great little snake gun!

I picked mine up used without the fold-out, and the frame had some minor brush-type scratches from the fold-out previously used.

I opted for the standard grip as the size is considerably smaller and my gun is intended for a last resort hide out gun. I have a small holster like Rock and Glock pictured, but have since made a kydex pocket holster to keep the little gun upright.

I have one of each. The folder when enclosed in itself basically doubles as a holster when its in the pocket, therefore it doesn't leave a print. The bigger grip always helps. I have no trouble handling mine.

Thanks fellas, I have made functional pocket holsters from scrap leather and The Speedy Stitcher sewing awl. After seeing your posts I think the pocket holster idea or occasionally just in a clean pocket is the answer.

Try North American Arms website. (see below) Click on Accessories, Mini Revolver Holsters. The only modification I made to mine was having my shoemaker stitch the bottom closed, so no pocket lint would get inside.
