When I do carry my SP101, I load it with .357. I practice mainly with .38 for price and comfort. I bought the .357 for the power of the round. To under load it when the chips are down doesn't make sense.

I will likely load .38 +P in my SP101 for EDC. My theory is that I'll be quicker to get back on target for subsequent shots if necessary.

I constantly carry a Smith & Wesson 360 in 357 magnum. It weighs 13 oz and has a 1 7/8" barrel. I carry it loaded with 158gr Double Tap 357 magnums. I bought a 357 so I could carry 357... 38s are great for the range but this aint a range gun...

You wouldn't be interested in adopting a 55 year old, would you?

When I first bought my S&W M&P 340 I carried it with .357s. Lately though I have been carrying it with Gold Dot .38 Specials. I guess my age is catching up with me b/c I used to love recoil, now not so much.

    SP101 2" version.

I carry with .357 ammo, but I'll shoot .38s for fun

Colt Lawman Mark III and S&W 686---both loaded with 125 grain Golden Sabres in .357. If I had wanted a 38 special I would have gotten one.
