    I joined the S&W family

After lurking here for a few months and shooting a bunch of guns at my local range, I decided on a S&W M&P9c.

Initially when I started to look, I had thought I would trade in my Sig P228. That was a moment of insanity. I am glad that I didn't go through with that. That gun is two sweet to give up. She will still find range time.

Tomorrow I will be putting the first rounds though the M&P. I can't wait.

That Sig does look sweet! I've heard good things with the M&P.

Picked me one up at the gun show today, traded in a Bersa 380. I can't wait to get to the range.

Sweet looking gun(s). Let us know how it shoots. M&P is on my list. I've shot a few and really liked it. Shot a .40 and compared to my xd it was much less snappy.

Excellent choice. I picked up a 40c back in December and have been thrilled with it. Excellent ergonomics, quality build and great trigger.

I must say, I really like the look of the m&pc. I know it's a "generic" service pistol, but there's something about the angle of the finger extension, the proportions... I miss mine (tho it went to a good cause-a buddy of mine who was without gun).
