I have a 26/19 combo and love it. Carry the 26, and 19 for HD. Practice with either, improve with both automatically :D and I love when guns can share mags

I have a Glock 17, 19, and 26. I am a huge fan of the Glock, especially in 9mm. I use the 17 for my home defense gun, the 19 as my daily carry gun, and the 26 for when I cannot carry the 19. The 26 is a great gun for carry but I can carry the 19 and hide it.

All in all you will be happy with one system. For me it is the Glock 9mm. Though I do want a 1911 in the future.

Glad to hear I'm not going nuts! LOL

The reason for the Glock 19 is pure WANT!!! More fun at the range. And yeah, it would be nice to add a tac light at the end of my home defense weapon(I usually just use a Surefire in the off hand).

I already use the mag extenders for my Glock 26. Matter of fact, my back up mag is usually a G19 mag. Heck, if my cover shirt is loose enough the mag in the gun and the back up mag are both G19 mags!

everyone has opinions about what to carry....I don't give them much credence....the only thing I consider is what worked in an actual confrontation....

I simplified my carry options pretty quick. 3rd gun I carried but the first one I bought for carry-GLOCK 19. It's my only carry gun. I find myself agreeing with those who curse you for getting rid of the GLOCK 21 but yet when it comes to the price of .45 acp vs 9x19 I agree with your logic. The gen 3 GLOCK 19 is no doubt a great weapon, buy with confidence.

I simplified last year for carry purposes. All I carry 90% of the time is a G19 and a Kahr PM9 (same caliber makes it really nice.) Good idea. Get the G19, you won't be sorry. Awesome gun.

Isn't it better to use a light as you do now instead of mounted. Wouldn't mounted tell the BG where you are and give him your CM to aim at?

Just about every gun in the world has been used in an actual confrontation. Could you expand on what you mean?

You don't have to have the light on all of the time. You can flash it as you need it.

that's a great home defense handgun. or full size XDM, M&P 45's. love those.

I can certainly understand the urge to consolidate your firearms though.
