I have been looking for a Model 10 with 2" barrel and round butt for a carry gun and shooter for a little while now.
I came across someone who was looking for a Glock 19 and wanted to trade a Model 10 S&W.
Since I have several Glocks and my G-19 is one I considered dispensible we hooked up.
We settled on an agreeable deal and I got my S&W Model 10 and put some money in my pocket.
The Smith was in a humid climate and had suffered some pitting on the hammer and trigger and a few other places so the owner had it Cerakoted with the cylinder, trigger and hammer done in black and the frame in dark gray.

This Model 10 is no safe queen and no collectors piece but it was just what I wanted and for me it's use is "Strictly Business".

Nice piece. Love the tough look, all business is right.

A fine example of a 6 shot defensive .38 snubby. If I found a good model 10 snubby I would buy it, but they are not common. I only have 5 shot J frame .38 S&W's, and one lone 6 shot gun, this 20 year old Colt Detective Special.

I'm digging it!!!

Good looking gun.

Nice. I will always a special place in my heart for revolvers.
Gotta love a Model 10. Good looking gun.
I carry a revolver pretty regular when home. I recently purchased my Detective Special but have not brought myself to shoot it yet.

One of my favorite guns is my Model 10 2".

A real "six for sure" carry gun, very nice!
Your revolver looks "the business," Old School.
I treated myself to a brand new Smith & Wesson Model 10 2-inch for Christmas of 1995 but had to special order it at the time. It came in in January of 1996.

Hey Old School congrats! Very nice - I'm glad it isn't a safe queen.
I'm too young to be this old!
