Picked one up a few weeks ago for my CCW weapon. Any other Dan Wesson owners? I love it so far. I've got about 200 rounds through it and getting better every time.

New to this forum. Excellent place with lots of good info.
I have a Dan Wesson .45 Guardian that I carry most days except when I need a deep concealment.
Other than the crummy CheckMate Magazines that came with it, it's been an incredibly good and reliable gun.
I stopped using the CM and am only using Wilson or McCormic magazines, they work very well.
The gun is incredibly good. Very tight and utterly accurate. Worth every penny and then some.
DW CCO owner here and you will love this pistol. Excellent fit, finish and an accurate little shooter as well.
Congrats on owning one of the best production 1911s on the market.
I carry a DW C-BOB when not working. Wish I shot as well as it does!
While I haven't had any problems with the factory magazines, I use Chop McCormick Power Mag's.

I've had a 45acp, CZ/DW 1911 Bobtail for about three years. Great gun, but a little heavy for IWB carry. Can't beat it for reliablilty and accuracy. I carry it a in the fall, winter and early spring in a Jackass Shoulder holster. When its hot, real hot, I carry a Glock 19 or a Kimber CDPII Commander in the spring, summer and early fall. Works for me.
