Range report on "problem" cm9
O.K., here goes. After all the trouble I had with disassembly and assembly of my new Kahr, I went to the range today not knowing what to expect. However, I did three things in prepartion
Cleaned gun thoroughly after it was apart (AFTER having read the manual!);2: Chambered the first round using the SLIDE RELEASE, as per the manual;3: LOADED the mag making certain the bullets were ALL THE WAY BACK in the mag-- the extreme back of it. GUESS WHAT? 100 + rounds with NO PROBLEMS... WHAT A HOOT and what a RELIEF! Now," past performance does not predict future results" ( where have I heard that before?), but I am hopeful. And I don't intend to disassemble for cleaning until AFTER the 200th round. Not sure what to make of this, but if I do have some real problems it will go back to Donaldson's, post haste. And there you have it.

Atta boy!
Shoot that thing like you stole it, it'll serve you well.
Disclaimer:
My opinion shouldn't be taken seriously due to the fact that I've been shooting guns for over 30 years and have only recently been active on gun forums, where all the real world knowledge apparently is.

Feel better now? Hopefully the streak will continue. Sometimes what appears to be major problems aren't.

The Ruger MKIII 22/45 is the worst handgun in history to take apart, but is one of the funnest to shoot...

Just make sure you clean it well after about 200 + rounds that includes if you are comfortable of slide disassembly if not use gun scrubber and the air nozzle. Also stay away from cheap steel case ammo and foreign ammo that stuff is nasty dirty and most certainly will cause many issues.
As you shoot this gun more you like it more I love the ones I have and what a joy to carry concealed. Glad to here things are working out.
