O.K., here goes. After all the trouble I had with disassembly and assembly of my new Kahr, I went to the range today not knowing what to expect. However, I did three things in prepartionCleaned gun thoroughly after it was apart (AFTER having read the manual!);2: Chambered the first round using the SLIDE RELEASE, as per the manual;3: LOADED the mag making certain the bullets were ALL THE WAY BACK in the mag-- the extreme back of it. GUESS WHAT? 100 + rounds with NO PROBLEMS... WHAT A HOOT and what a RELIEF! Now," past performance does not predict future results" ( where have I heard that before?), but I am hopeful. And I don't intend to disassemble for cleaning until AFTER the 200th round. Not sure what to make of this, but if I do have some real problems it will go back to Donaldson's, post haste. And there you have it.
